Tennis is considered to be the most predictable and profitable kind of sport. I agree with this and below are only some of advantages of tennis betting:
1) low juice
Tennis, unlike soccer, has only 2 possible outcomes and the percent taken by bookmakers is lower
2) matches are played every day
In modern tennis, players have to play almost every week to earn rating points. Consequently, a lot of tournaments are held
3) it's easier to determine players' style
To have a notion of the team style in soccer, one should regularly watch their matches, because change of a coach, changes in the line up may affect the way team plays. In tennis it's different - player's style that is formed at the very beginning of the career is hardly changes afterwards. Besides, such factors that also predetermine individual style as player's height, weight, leading hand don't change at all.
4) large number of bookmakers
Unlike european hockey and europena basketball, bets on tennis are offered almost by every single bookmaker which naturally means better odds and more options - some give game handicaps (5 dimes, FON, Gamebookers) and even small tournaments including challengers (5 Dimes)

КАЗИНО CASINO BWIN.COM:
OnCourt is a tennis statistics software made by my friend and partner Andrew, owner of KAN-Soft. This software includes tournament statistics for more than 10 years, and these aren't only the largest tournaments, but challengers and futures (!) as well. Match statistics such as number of double faults, serving speed etc. is also available for larger tournaments. Data is regularly updated via Internet, usually twice a day (in the morning and in the evening) which means you'll always have the latest results, list of forthcoming matches and lots of useful statistics. Additionally there's an option of getting a computer-made prediction.
It's not so expensive and such investment will definitely be a smart decision.
I guess it's the only kind of sport in which surface has so much influence on the result. A player who was simply blowing everyone off the court on one surface may show only average results on another.
Here are different types of surfaces: -hard (including a slower rebound ace) -clay (green and red) -grass -carpet
Grass is the fastest surface, then come carpet, hard and finally clay, which is the slowest. The faster the surface, the more it suits players who use "serve and go to the net" style. Such players are usually of athletic build, tall and have fast, accurate serve. They find it hard to be running along the baseline for a long time, so they prefer to finish it off as quickly as possible.
Such great servers were Goran Ivanisevic and Patrick Rafter in the past and Joahim Johansson and Mario Ancic now.
Slow surfaces are characterized by lengthy battles with players exchanging shots from the baseline. Spanish and Argentinian players have an advantage here.
Thus, knowledge of surface and player's style regarding it allows us to predict the outcome of the match.
Player's current form
Player's past achievements are good stories to tell to grandchildren, in the prematch analysis player's recent results (3-4 weeks) are much more important. One should take into consideration not only the results themselves, but the level of opponents and tournaments as well. Also be careful when there's no statistics for the past few weeks (the player may have been injured), better skip such matches. Head to head
I don't think it's really important, but there are uncomfortable opponents and one has to consider this.
Quite often there are matches in which the player doesn't have an aim to win by all means. This usually happens in the following cases:
-a hard but successful tournament has just finished, the player gained a lot of points and doesn't have much energy left
-an important tournament is ahead and the player should be in top form by then
- the player got a "lucky loser" status in the final qualifying round and he will take part in the tournament in any case
Tennis analysis doesn't require watching the match. Often quality statistical analysis is enough, but certainly, knowledge of players' advantages and weak points won't be excessive.
